Wellbeing Pillars

A Wellbeing is multidimensional and can be categorized under five main pillars, each encompassing major values under which various sub-values fall.

Spiritual Wellbeing

Displays a sense of connectedness in everything we interact with. Being connected with the Creator to flourish our belonging as part of the whole. This belonging requires excellence in our purpose in life by reflecting our views, values and our mission servitude and to fulfill our purpose by actualizing our given talents. Connected stewards express their faith by engaging in prayer, contemplation and other means of connecting to humanity. Spiritual wellbeing is the foundation of all pillars, leading us to deep growth emotionally, intellectually, physically as well as socially.

Emotional Wellbeing

The heart is the place of benevolence and therefore is the guide to emotional wellbeing. Benevolent people are in touch with their inner being guided by their insights from external forces and by their inner voice to do good to serve. Humans are created with an immense emotional energy (love, desire, attachment, anger, negative feelings). This emotional energy needs to be directed the right way towards the right object and be used in a harmonious way to fulfill the purpose for which it was created. This emotional energy needs to be balanced, resilient and transformative.

Intellectual Wellbeing

The mind is the place of intellectual activities that characterize people of intellect. People of intellect are reflective, pondering and contemplative. Reflections develop a love for lifelong learning by being connected to the source of knowledge, the Creator. A well-balanced mind is capable of reflecting about universal signs and within oneself. The constantly contemplative mind will always seek wisdom and righteousness. Intellectual wellbeing helps us think differently about the way we use resources, continuously improving our standard of living and the art of being well.

Physical Wellbeing

Physical well-being is achieved through proper nourishment, movement, and rest, ensuring that the body functions optimally.Maintaining physical well-being requires a balanced approach—nurturing strength, flexibility, and endurance while respecting the body's limits. It is about aligning daily habits with principles of self-care, discipline, and holistic health. When the body is cared for, it enhances clarity of mind, emotional stability, and spiritual connection, creating a foundation for a purposeful and fulfilling life.

Social Wellbeing

It is the ability to connect, communicate, and collaborate with others in a way that nurtures mutual respect, empathy, and kindness.A socially well individual engages in relationships that inspire growth, support, and understanding. It requires balancing personal needs with the well-being of others, developing emotional intelligence, and practicing compassion. Strong social connections create a sense of belonging, purpose, and shared responsibility, reinforcing the idea that we thrive not in isolation but through the strength of our communities.
